DON’T
LET ‘EM IN
Two months ago my brother
disappeared for two days, then he was found in an area far from where he was
last seen. He was last seen in an area called Tall Grass, where it was indeed
covered with long grass that covered whatever was behind it. The place was
quite scary and many people which disappeared for days and was found in a place
far from the Tall Grass. Many people say the Tall Grass is like a teleportation
device. My brother Eddie is a person who likes challenges he challenges himself
to get into that Tall Grass and wants to know
what exactly is behind it. After that incident Eddie didn’t say to much
he just told everyone that he went inside there but he never wanted to tell
what he saw and what made him can go out of there.
Eddie
being a different person he always looks grim. My mother said he just feel
shock after that accident.
“what
are you thinking about?” my mother asked me while giving me a plate of pancakes
for breakfast.
“nothing,
I just MISS MY BROTHER WHO ALWAYS LIKES TO BOTHER ME” I answered a little
scream so that Eddie who staring at the window heard it.
“Maddy
!!! stop it” my mother didn’t like it when I started discussing Eddie’s
changes, she thought Eddie needed tim for forgeting that.
I return
to my room. Today is Saturday so I didn’t go to campus. I really want to know
what Eddie really went through. I want to know what’s really behind that
freaking grass.
I’ve
been planning this since last week. Tonight I will go there. I have prepared
everything. At midnight I’m leaving. I want to know what made Eddie like this. I
didn’t tell anyone about this plan because mom and dad wouldn’t give me
permission. Whoever or whatever makes Eddie like this has to be held
responsible. I’ll just write a letter and leave it at the fridge door.
In the
middle of the night I slipped out if the house. I hurried away until no one saw
me. Arrived in the Tall Grass my courage dropped, because this place is even
scarier when it’s dark and quiet at midnight like this. I turned on my
flashlight and I gathered my courage back. I enter the grass field, there was
very dark and many animal bones. It looks like it’s a lost animal in there.
I have
been walking for hours and I have not yet found the end of this field. Sometimes
I feel a goosebumps. I feel someone is watching me, but I strengthen myself I
have to get through this. I keep going around. I finnaly realized something. There
are some signs like there are others who marked it. This Tall Grass is like a
maze. I followed th signs. I continued walking until I saw the light.
I saw
a very large mansion. I decided to get close to the mansion to see if there
were any residents in there. When I approached the gate it opened
automatically. I was amazed to see the mansion. I walked toward the door of the
mansion. Then, I knock on the door and someone open the door. TO BE CONTINUE...
